Watch and Marvel.
Whether by day or by night: our North Sea island always has something special and spectacular to offer. During your island holiday, you can take more time to observe your surroundings more consciously and perceive everything much more intensely.
Marvel at Sea Wonders
We cannot emphasize it enough: nature and wildlife watchers will find exactly what they are looking for on Pellworm. For example, we recommend the bird-watching tours with Sören Lang - a truly special experience. In general, the North Sea has its own absolutely fascinating nature. Last but not least, the healthy bracing climate, the stormy winds whipping up the waves, and the tides are unique weather phenomena.
It is also worth mingling with the locals. The North Friesians might be a bit rugged, but they are straightforward and friendly—you simply get what you see. You can experience North Friesian life up close when the shrimp cutters arrive in the small harbor or at the fresh fish sales. For a quieter and cozy experience, take a stroll through the shopping street with its quaint cafes.
Pure Romance: Impressive Starry Skies over Pellworm
Pellworm is the first star island in Schleswig-Holstein. While the nights in large cities never truly get dark anymore, here you can behold a gigantic starry sky at night. This makes breathtaking night photography possible! However, the undisputed romantic highlight is a wedding under the stars - in summer, this takes place in a beach chair on the dike with an unobstructed view of the stars.
Whether traveling alone or as a couple: we highly recommend taking a look at the Pellworm starry sky and, with a bit of luck, the Milky Way. To enjoy this experience, we offer the "Stargazer" package. It includes a pot of coffee or tea as well as a blanket to snuggle up in for the price of 7 Euros per person (subject to availability). Please register at the reception in good time.
